Video Message: Unity and Opportunity

In this short video, I reflect on our achievements over the past year and call on Kenyans everywhere to stay united and focused on creating opportunities for young people and small businesses.

Unity is not simply a slogan. It is the foundation of everything we do – from building supply chains that link remote farmers to city markets, to mentoring young entrepreneurs. When we stand together, we can tackle systemic challenges like unemployment and access to finance.

The past year has shown me that when we invest in youth skills and support SMEs, we unleash innovation and create jobs. I share some highlights from our Youth Enterprise Lab and partnerships with schools and clinics.

What I Learned

Sharing this message on video reminded me that storytelling is powerful. People connect when they can see and hear the passion behind an idea. I learned that digital media is a vital tool for engaging youth and diaspora audiences.

What We Do Next

We will produce more accessible content in Kiswahili, Ekegusii and English to reach wider audiences. Future videos will feature voices from the community and highlight success stories. Your feedback on topics you’d like covered is most welcome.
